Can you send a formal quotation and invoice our company?
Yes. Send the estimate from this page and a planner replies with an itemised written quotation you can file for approval. Confirm with your purchase order or the signed quotation, and we invoice your company. The first invoice covers the venue hire plus a share of our services; the quotation sets out the rest of the schedule.
What does the price include?
The Polaris Ballroom for your block, with the hotel's service charge and GST already in. A buffet or canapés from our own halal-certified kitchen with our service staff, any tea breaks you add, the stage décor you choose, and an event coordinator on the day. Our catering, décor and planning are nett.
What AV comes with the room?
The Polaris Ballroom has LED screens, sound and lighting. What comes with your booking is confirmed with the hotel for your date and shown in your written quotation. Extra AV, a production crew and printed brand graphics are quoted separately.
How many guests can the Polaris Ballroom take?
Up to 300 at banquet tables, 420 theatre-style, 290 classroom-style or 450 standing, per the hotel. The price builder goes up to 320 guests; above that, or for a smaller group in one section of the ballroom (Polaris 1 to 3), ask us.
Can we run a full-day conference here?
Yes. Book the full day: one 8-hour block. The price covers one meal, usually lunch. Add a morning and an afternoon tea break in the price builder, each set out fresh at its own time. A second buffet goes on your written quotation.
What are the menu options?
At Novotel Stevens we serve the fuller two of our three buffets, to match the hotel's standard, from 30 guests, with every course and price on this page. For a launch or networking hour without a buffet there are canapés, and for a conference you can add one or two tea breaks a day, both priced per guest.
Is the food halal?
Yes. Every menu is cooked in our own halal-certified kitchen and served by our crew, so every colleague can eat from the same buffet. Tell us about vegetarian guests and allergies and we mark them on the menu.
Is there GST or a service charge?
Not from us: our catering, décor and planning are nett, with no service charge added. The Polaris Ballroom is at the hotel's own 2027 rate, and the hotel's service charge and GST on the room are already in your total, passed through with no mark-up.
Is the price final?
It is built from the hotel's 2027 rates and our own menu, décor and planning prices. For a 2026 or 2028 date, your written quotation confirms the hotel's rate. The quotation is final once the hotel confirms your date and session.
How do guests get there?
28 Stevens Road. Stevens MRT (Downtown and Thomson–East Coast lines) is about a 6-minute walk, per the hotel. The ballroom sits next to the hotel's sheltered driveway, which takes cars and coaches, so a chartered coach can drop your team close to the door. Parking is complimentary for the hotel's in-house guests; ask us about parking for your event guests.
Can you do the stage and branding?
Our own décor team builds the backdrop, stage styling and entrance. Pick a level in the price builder and see it in your total; printed brand graphics are quoted with you.

Prime Events is the corporate events arm of the Alangkaar group, with Alangkaar's planners, halal-certified kitchen and décor team, planning events in Singapore since 1997.
