Your walimah at Hotel Grand Pacific.

Yes. One session of 4 to 5 hours fits both: the akad nikah at the front of the room first, then the bersanding on the pelamin and the walimah buffet in the same room. For a smaller akad with light refreshments, Pacific Ballroom I or II is enough. Your marriage registration with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and your kadi or naib kadi stay with you and your family; we plan the room, the décor, the food and the timing around the ceremony.

Yes. Every dish is cooked in our own halal-certified kitchen, with no pork, no lard and no alcohol, and served by our team on our own buffet line. The certification is our kitchen's, not the hotel's: the hotel provides the room only, and adds no charge for bringing in our catering.

Monday to Saturday. The hotel's function rooms are not available on Sundays. Planning a public holiday? Ask us and we will check with the hotel.

Up to 150 at round tables in Pacific Ballroom I or II, and up to 250 with both joined. A stage and buffet line take some space in a single room, so we confirm your layout with the hotel.

Yes. Our décor team builds a low, wide pelamin and backdrop to fit the room, and scales down tall arches and hanging pieces. Design and mock-up by our designers are included, so you see it before your date.

A prayer space is not part of the room booking we have on file. Tell us your prayer times and we ask the hotel what it can offer on your date, and plan the programme around them.

We plan your arrival into the Pacific Ballroom with you. If your family brings a kompang group, we check the timing and the hotel's house rules for your date first.

The room for one session of 4 to 5 hours, the hotel's tables and chairs, a basic sound system with 2 wireless mics, an LCD projector and screen, a whiteboard, a flipchart and wifi. Table linen, the pelamin, décor and any lighting come from us. Need longer? The hotel sells extra half hours, and we add them to your written quote.

It is one nett price, with no GST or service charge added on top. It uses the hotel's 2026 room rates and our own menu, décor and planning prices. For 2027 dates, we confirm the room rate with the hotel before you commit. Table linen ($25 a table, $2.50 a chair) and any extra hours are added to your written quote.

Nothing we bring has any: our kitchen is halal-certified, we serve no alcohol and no non-halal drinks, and our crew pours nothing else at your event. The venue's own bar and its other rooms are the venue's to run, so tell us what you need for your day and we put it in writing with the venue before you commit.

Yes. Akad Nikah Light Refreshments start at $14.90 a guest, from 20 guests, and suit the akad at the venue or at home before the walimah.

No. The couple registers the marriage with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and chooses the kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when filing the application. We look after the venue, the food, the pelamin and the running of the day.

Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin, the bersanding dais and the entrance, scaled to your room and guest count. Pick a level in the price builder and see it in your total.

The buffets start at 30 guests, and the akad refreshments at 20. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.

Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
