Book the lunch session, 8am to 4pm, and the walimah follows in the same booking. A garden set-up and outdoor sound are added to your written quote. Your marriage registration with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and your kadi or naib kadi stay with you and your family; we plan the space, the food and the timing around the ceremony.

Yes. Every menu comes from our own halal-certified kitchen, with no pork, no lard and no alcohol. Our kitchen is registered with the resort as an outside caterer.

Yes. Our décor team builds the pelamin: a couple's dais on a styled stage with flower rows, an aisle runner and entrance styling, scaled to the room. Choose the look in the price builder, and we send a design mock-up before your date.

Up to 240 at round tables in the Straits Ballroom (20 tables if you want a dance floor), up to 140 in the Saffron Ballroom and up to 60 in the Ginger Room. Garden ceremonies seat up to 100 at Spice Island Point.

The ballrooms are booked for lunch, 8am to 4pm (8 hours), or dinner, 5pm to 11pm (6 hours), at the same price. Lunch leaves time for the akad nikah in the morning and the walimah after.

Yes. The Straits or Saffron Ballroom suits a Hari Raya open house, and the Ginger Room, which opens onto the garden, suits an aqiqah or cukur jambul for up to 60. We cater the kenduri; the aqiqah sacrifice itself is arranged separately by your family.

Yes. The resort has offered our couples preferential room rates. Tell us your dates and how many rooms you need, and we will ask for yours.

It is built from the resort's venue rates for 2026 or 2027 and our own menu, décor and planning prices, all nett. For 2028 dates we confirm the resort's rate before you commit, and your written quote confirms everything once the resort confirms your date and session.

Nothing we bring has any: our kitchen is halal-certified, we serve no alcohol and no non-halal drinks, and our crew pours nothing else at your event. The venue's own bar and its other rooms are the venue's to run, so tell us what you need for your day and we put it in writing with the venue before you commit.

Yes. Akad Nikah Light Refreshments start at $14.90 a guest, from 20 guests, and suit the akad at the venue or at home before the walimah.

No. The couple registers the marriage with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and chooses the kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when filing the application. We look after the venue, the food, the pelamin and the running of the day.

Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin, the bersanding dais and the entrance, scaled to your room and guest count. Pick a level in the price builder and see it in your total.

The buffets start at 30 guests, and the akad refreshments at 20. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.

Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
