Can we hold the akad nikah here?
Yes. Hold it at a dressed akad table or on the stage, then the bersanding and the walimah follow in the same booking. Your marriage registration and your kadi or naib kadi stay with you and your family through ROMM; we plan the room, the food and the timing.
Is the ballroom in the price?
Not yet. Orchard Rendezvous Hotel quotes its ballroom for your date, and we add it to your written quote at the hotel's own rate, with no mark-up from us. We confirm what the hotel includes at the same time.
How many guests fit?
Up to 200 at banquet tables in the Antica Ballroom I & II.
Is the price final?
The estimate covers our menu, pelamin, crew and planning, all nett. The ballroom is added to your written quote at the hotel's rate, and we confirm our catering with the hotel before you pay anything.
Is the food halal?
Yes. Every menu, from the akad refreshments to the walimah buffet, is cooked in our halal-certified kitchen. Tell us about allergies and we mark them on the menu.
Will alcohol be served at our event?
Nothing we bring has any: our kitchen is halal-certified, we serve no alcohol and no non-halal drinks, and our crew pours nothing else at your event. The venue's own bar and its other rooms are the venue's to run, so tell us what you need for your day and we put it in writing with the venue before you commit.
Can you cater the akad nikah?
Yes. At the hotel the akad is followed by the bersanding and a full hotel menu in the same session, priced per guest from 20 guests, so the lighter refreshment menus are not offered here. For an akad at home before the walimah, ask a planner.
Do you arrange the kadi and the marriage registration?
No. The couple registers the marriage with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and chooses the kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when filing the application. We look after the venue, the food, the pelamin and the running of the day.
Do you build the pelamin?
Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin, the bersanding dais and the entrance, scaled to your room and guest count. Pick a level in the price builder and see it in your total.
How many guests do we need?
Every hotel menu is priced per guest from 20 guests, up to the largest room at the hotel. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.
Is there GST or a service charge?
Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
