How many guests fit?
About 150 on chairs in the multi-purpose hall, or close to 200 with four rows of floor seating in front. Guests dine in the mandapam, about 100 per sitting, or in an air-conditioned function room.
Is the food vegetarian?
Yes. Every menu at the temple is vegetarian — South or North Indian, buffet or served at the table — and there is no alcohol.
Can your kitchen cater at the temple?
Yes. Our own kitchen caters at Sri Sivan Temple — South or North Indian vegetarian, buffet or served at the table.
Is the hall in the price?
Yes. The price builder folds the temple hall into your per-guest price, at our estimate of the temple's rate. The temple confirms its hall and dining-room rate for your date and the hours you book, and your written quote passes it on with no Alangkaar mark-up.
Can the temple's priests lead the ceremony?
Ask us. The temple has offered its priests for wedding rituals and birthday prayers. We confirm it with the temple office for your date and plan the stage around them.
Will you deal with the temple for us?
Yes. We check your date with the temple office, help you book, and handle the set-up times, deliveries and clearing after.
Is the price final?
Not quite. The live price covers the temple hall, our food, décor, crew and planning, all nett. The hall is our estimate until the temple confirms its rate for your date; your written quote uses the temple's own rate, with no Alangkaar mark-up.
