What is the pool package?
The Raffles Sentosa venue package is $70,000 nett, with no service charge or GST added on top. It includes the pool area booking; a custom-fabricated transparent glass deck over the pool, with a walkway; the Garden Room, held as your wet-weather (rain) plan; valet parking for all your guests; and buggy service for your guests.
What happens if it rains?
The Garden Room is held for you as the rain plan, and it is part of the $70,000 nett venue package. If the weather turns, we move your celebration indoors there.
Can we hold the akad nikah here?
Yes. Hold it on the glass deck over the pool before the walimah. A hotel-grade meal follows. Your nikah is registered with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM), and you choose your kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when you file your marriage application.
Can we bersanding on a pelamin?
Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin, the aisle and the entrance on the glass deck. Choose a décor level in the price builder and it shows in your total straight away.
Is the venue in the price?
Yes. The Raffles Sentosa venue package is in your price at $70,000 nett, with no service charge or GST added on top. The resort confirms your date.
Is there GST or a service charge?
No. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett, and the $70,000 venue package is nett too.
Is the food halal?
Yes. Every menu is cooked in our own halal-certified kitchen, with no pork, lard or alcohol, and we cater at Raffles Sentosa. Nikah Hotel Classic is included in your package here.
Can our family stay at the resort?
Raffles Sentosa is an all-villa resort with 62 villas, each with its own pool. Villas are booked with the resort; ask us and we will check your dates.
Is the price final?
It covers the $70,000 nett venue package and our food, décor and planning at our current rates. Your written quote confirms the full total before you commit.
Will alcohol be served at our event?
Nothing we bring has any: our kitchen is halal-certified, we serve no alcohol and no non-halal drinks, and our crew pours nothing else at your event. The venue's own bar and its other rooms are the venue's to run, so tell us what you need for your day and we put it in writing with the venue before you commit.
Can you cater the akad nikah?
Yes. At the hotel the akad is followed by the bersanding and a full hotel menu in the same session, priced per guest from 20 guests, so the lighter refreshment menus are not offered here. For an akad at home before the walimah, ask a planner.
Do you arrange the kadi and the marriage registration?
No. The couple registers the marriage with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and chooses the kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when filing the application. We look after the venue, the food, the pelamin and the running of the day.
Do you build the pelamin?
Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin, the bersanding dais and the entrance, scaled to your room and guest count. Pick a level in the price builder and see it in your total.
How many guests do we need?
Every hotel menu is priced per guest from 20 guests, up to the largest room at the hotel. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.
