How many guests fit?
Up to 400 at banquet tables in the Raffles Ballroom, or 600 for a standing reception.
Can we hold the akad nikah here?
Yes. Hold it in the ballroom before the walimah, or over the pool on our transparent deck, with up to 150 Tiffany chairs, for $15,000 added to your written quote. Light refreshments follow: Akad High Tea, at $20.90 a guest. The resort also offers garden and beach ceremonies, so ask us. Your nikah is registered with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM), and you choose your kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when you file your marriage application.
Can we bersanding on a pelamin?
Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin, the aisle and the entrance for the Raffles Ballroom. Choose a décor level in the price builder and it shows in your total straight away.
Why is the ballroom not in the price?
Raffles Sentosa quotes the ballroom for each date. The live price covers our food, décor and planning; we add the ballroom to your written quote at the resort's own rate, with no Alangkaar mark-up.
Is there GST or a service charge?
Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Raffles Sentosa quotes the Raffles Ballroom for your date, and any service charge or GST in its quote is passed on as quoted, with no mark-up from us.
Is the food halal?
Yes. Every menu is cooked in our own halal-certified kitchen, with no pork, lard or alcohol, and we cater at Raffles Sentosa. Buffets here start at $28.90 a guest.
Can our family stay at the resort?
Raffles Sentosa is an all-villa resort with 62 villas, each with its own pool. Villas are booked with the resort; ask us and we will check your dates.
Is the price final?
It covers our food, décor and planning at our current rates, nett. The resort quotes the ballroom for your date, whether in 2026 or 2027, including any service charge or GST it adds, and your written quote confirms the full total before you commit.
Will alcohol be served at our event?
Nothing we bring has any: our kitchen is halal-certified, we serve no alcohol and no non-halal drinks, and our crew pours nothing else at your event. The venue's own bar and its other rooms are the venue's to run, so tell us what you need for your day and we put it in writing with the venue before you commit.
Can you cater the akad nikah?
Yes. Akad Nikah Light Refreshments start at $14.90 a guest, from 20 guests, and suit the akad at the venue or at home before the walimah.
Do you arrange the kadi and the marriage registration?
No. The couple registers the marriage with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and chooses the kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when filing the application. We look after the venue, the food, the pelamin and the running of the day.
Do you build the pelamin?
Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin, the bersanding dais and the entrance, scaled to your room and guest count. Pick a level in the price builder and see it in your total.
How many guests do we need?
The buffets start at 30 guests, and the akad refreshments at 20. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.
