Can we hold the akad nikah here?
Yes. Hold your akad nikah at a dressed akad table at the front of the Auditorium, then go into the bersanding and the walimah in the same booking. An 8-hour booking gives room for both; a 4-hour booking in a seminar room suits an akad nikah with lunch. Your marriage registration and your kadi or naib kadi stay with you and your family through ROMM; we plan the room, the food and the timing.
Can we have a pelamin for the bersanding?
Yes. Our own décor team designs, builds and clears the pelamin at the front of your room. Pick the styling level in the price builder; the recommended level suits your guest count.
Which room suits us?
The Auditorium seats up to 150 at banquet tables. Seminar Rooms 1 and 2 together seat 120, and one seminar room seats 60. The price builder picks the smallest room that fits your guest count.
Do we need to be HomeTeamNS members?
No. Anyone can book through us at the standard price. If you are an Ordinary, Associate or Family member of HomeTeamNS, tick the member box in the price builder. The member price applies once you show your card.
How long is the booking?
4 hours or 8 hours, and every event ends by 10pm. Set-up and teardown happen inside your slot, plus 1 free hour of set-up before it starts.
What does the venue include?
Banquet or theatre furniture set up by the club before your slot, basic AV with a projector, a screen and a wireless microphone, and 5 complimentary parking coupons for each zone you book.
Is there somewhere for guests to pray?
Tell us when you book. We ask the club what it can set aside for prayers during your booking and let you know before you confirm.
Is the price final?
It is one nett price. Our catering, décor and planning carry no service charge or GST. The venue part is built from the club's 2026 rates. The club may revise its rates for 2027 onwards, so your written quote confirms the venue hire once the club confirms your date and slot. Extra hours are on top.
Is the food halal?
Yes. Every menu, from the akad refreshments to the walimah buffet, is cooked in our halal-certified kitchen. Tell us about allergies and we mark them on the menu.
Will alcohol be served at our event?
Nothing we bring has any: our kitchen is halal-certified, we serve no alcohol and no non-halal drinks, and our crew pours nothing else at your event. The venue's own bar and its other rooms are the venue's to run, so tell us what you need for your day and we put it in writing with the venue before you commit.
Can you cater the akad nikah?
Yes. Akad Nikah Light Refreshments are their own lighter package from 20 guests, and suit the akad at the venue or at home before the walimah.
Do you arrange the kadi and the marriage registration?
No. The couple registers the marriage with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and chooses the kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when filing the application. We look after the venue, the food, the pelamin and the running of the day.
Do you build the pelamin?
Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin, the bersanding dais and the entrance, scaled to your room and guest count. Pick a level in the price builder and see it in your total.
How many guests do we need?
The buffets start at 30 guests, and the akad refreshments at 20. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.
Is there GST or a service charge?
Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
