Yes. Raffles House is yours for the full day, 8am to 10pm, so you can hold the akad nikah in the morning, then the bersanding and the walimah lunch in the same air-conditioned house. For close family, the Old Married Soldiers' Quarters seats 40 indoors. Your nikah is registered with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) as usual, and your kadi or naib kadi is arranged with ROMM; we plan the room, the food and the timing around your akad.
Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin inside Raffles House or the Function Hall, and has already set up an event at Raffles House, so we know the room. Pick the décor level in the price builder and it shows in your total straight away. The park allows no open flames and nothing hung on its trees or structures, so we light the pelamin with LED lights and build it free-standing.
Yes. NParks rates the Fort Gate lawn for up to 600 seated, and Raffles Garden, Fort Canning Green and the Foothills for up to 500 each. A lawn needs a tent, tables and chairs, so we price lawn walimahs with you on WhatsApp rather than live on this page, and confirm the tent layout at a site visit.
Yes. Every menu comes from our own halal-certified kitchen. The park has no in-house caterer, so hirers bring one in, and that is us. Our food arrives ready from our kitchen, as the park allows no open flames.
Tell us when you book. Raffles House and the Soldiers' Quarters are yours for the whole day, so we plan the akad, the bersanding and the meal around prayer times and keep a quiet space in your room clear for prayers.
Tell us early. Music in the park runs from 8.30am to 9.30pm, and sound above 65 dBA at the venue boundary needs NParks' written approval in advance. A kompang group is loud, so we ask NParks for your date before you confirm the group.
NParks needs the booking at least one calendar month before your date, and any permits two weeks before. It confirms the date only once its fee is paid in full. If you cancel, NParks keeps 20% of its fee at 30 days or more ahead, and all of it under 30 days.
Tables and chairs: NParks has none, so we bring them in (about $10.50 a guest, or $630 for 60) and add them to your written quote. Extra hours in the Function Hall, and a lawn walimah with its tent, go on the written quote too. ROMM's own fees are not in this price.
Almost. Tables and chairs (about $10.50 a guest) go on your written quote, because NParks has none. It is built from NParks' 2026 rates and our own menu, décor and planning prices, all nett. NParks' rates run to 31 December 2026, so 2027 dates are confirmed at its new rates. Your written quote confirms everything once NParks approves your date.
Nothing we bring has any: our kitchen is halal-certified, we serve no alcohol and no non-halal drinks, and our crew pours nothing else at your event. The venue's own bar and its other rooms are the venue's to run, so tell us what you need for your day and we put it in writing with the venue before you commit.
Yes. Akad Nikah Light Refreshments start at $14.90 a guest, from 20 guests, and suit the akad at the venue or at home before the walimah.
No. The couple registers the marriage with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and chooses the kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when filing the application. We look after the venue, the food, the pelamin and the running of the day.

Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
