21 Tyrwhitt Road, at the corner of Plumer Road in the Farrer Park and Jalan Besar area. Foochow (also spelt Foo Chow) Building has a two-storey function hall, and your event takes one floor of it. The hall supplies the room, tables, chairs, LED wall and sound; we bring in the pelamin, the food and the crew.

Yes. Book the 9am–3pm session: hold your akad nikah at a dressed akad table in the hall, then go into the bersanding and a walimah lunch in the same session. Your marriage is registered through ROMM as usual, and your kadi or naib kadi is arranged by you and your family; we plan the room, the seating and the timing around your akad. Add the akad set-up in the price builder and we dress the akad table and the hantaran display.
Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin at the front of the hall, freestanding as the hall requires, with the aisle and entrance to match. Pick the styling level in the price builder: the recommended level suits your guest count, and the Royal Bersanding Dais adds a couple's sofa on a styled dais.
Yes. Every menu is cooked in our own halal-certified kitchen and brought to the hall by our team. Tell us about vegetarian guests or allergies when you book.
Up to 400 at 10-seat tables on one floor, depending on the layout. Level 2 seats 450 and Level 3 seats 350 theatre-style. For a bigger walimah across both floors, WhatsApp us and we will price it with you.
Six hours: 9am to 3pm or 5pm to 11pm, plus set-up time before your session. The 9am–3pm session fits an akad nikah in the morning and a walimah lunch after. Book both sessions for a full day.
Not with a real flame. The building allows no open flame anywhere, so we style your aisle and tables with LED candles, and sparklers are out. For a cold-spark entrance or other effect, ask us first and we will check it with the hall.
Tell us when you book. Prayer space is not in the live price, so we ask the hall what can be set aside during your session and let you know before you confirm.

Yes. The hall's 2.4 × 5 m LED wall, sound system and lighting come with the hire, along with air-conditioning and a dressing room.
No. Nikah SG × Alangkaar is an independent planner, caterer and décor team. We arrange the hall booking with you at the hall's own rates and run the day from set-up to clear-out.
It is built from the hall's current rates and our own menu, décor and planning prices. Our part is nett, as Alangkaar is not GST-registered. The hall has not published separate rates for 2027, so for 2027 dates we confirm its rate before you commit. Tablecloths, extra décor time and a second meal on a full day go on your written quote, which confirms the total once the hall confirms your date and session.
Nothing we bring has any: our kitchen is halal-certified, we serve no alcohol and no non-halal drinks, and our crew pours nothing else at your event. The venue's own bar and its other rooms are the venue's to run, so tell us what you need for your day and we put it in writing with the venue before you commit.
Yes. Akad Nikah Light Refreshments start at $14.90 a guest, from 20 guests, and suit the akad at the venue or at home before the walimah.
No. The couple registers the marriage with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) and chooses the kadi or naib kadi from ROMM's panel when filing the application. We look after the venue, the food, the pelamin and the running of the day.
Yes. Our own décor team designs and builds the pelamin, the bersanding dais and the entrance, scaled to your room and guest count. Pick a level in the price builder and see it in your total.
The buffets start at 30 guests, and the akad refreshments at 20. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.
Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
