Yes. We set up the tea table on the stage or in a corner of the ballroom, inside your booked slot. Tea Ceremony Essentials is $288 a couple: a porcelain tea set, red date and longan tea for up to 30 family members, 2 kneeling cushions, and delivery, set-up and collection. The Styled Tea Ceremony is $588 and adds a cream and boho tea table, 2 chairs for your elders, sweet dumpling soup for up to 30 and a helper for an hour. Holding it at home in the morning? We deliver it there instead.
Yes. The club lists its ballrooms for solemnisations. You arrange your licensed solemniser; we plan the room, décor and food. The club sets one layout for your slot, so you say your vows at the front of the room and your guests move straight to the tables. Vows Light Bites is $15.90 and Vows High Tea $21.90 a guest, from 20 guests, or choose a full buffet.
Yes. Every menu is cooked in our own halal-certified kitchen and arrives ready to serve, so every guest can eat from the same buffet. Every tier has vegetarian dishes. Tell us about allergies and we mark them on the menu.
No. Anyone can book through us at the standard price. If you are an Ordinary, Associate or Family member of HomeTeamNS, tick the member box in the price builder. The member price applies once you show your card. Social membership does not qualify.
The Grand Ballroom takes up to 340 guests at round tables. For 160 or fewer, the Waterfront or Water Haven ballroom keeps the room full and the price lower. Each half has its own stage, a projector and screen, and 2 wireless mics.
Send us your date and guest count. We can place a 5-day hold with the club while you decide, and confirm the booking in writing.
Our menu, décor and planning prices are fixed. The venue part is built from the club's 2026 rates for your ballroom, slot and day. The club may revise its rates for 2027 onwards, so your written quote confirms the venue hire once the club confirms your date and slot. Extra hours are on top of the total.
The buffets start at 30 guests, and the solemnisation light bites at 20. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.
Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
