Yes. We set up a tea table in your ballroom before the meal, inside your 4-hour session. Tea Ceremony Essentials is $288 a couple: a porcelain tea set, red date and longan tea for up to 30 family members, 2 kneeling cushions, and set-up and collection. The Styled Tea Ceremony is $588 and adds a cream-linen tea table with dried flowers and pampas, 2 chairs for your elders, sweet dumpling soup for up to 30, a red-packet box and a helper for an hour. It can also come to your home for a morning ceremony.
Yes. The Seletar Ballroom on Level 3 is the smallest room in our package. Say your vows at the front with your licensed solemniser, then serve Vows Light Bites ($15.90 a guest) or Vows High Tea ($21.90 a guest), from 20 guests, all in one 4-hour session. We look after the room, the styling and the food. For under 60 guests, a smaller venue usually gives better value — ask us.
The Atrium Ballroom takes 250 to 350 guests, the Changi Ballroom 150 to 180 and the Seletar Ballroom 140 to 160. Pick the room your guest list fills, and the price per guest stays lower. Over 350 guests? WhatsApp us.
Your ballroom for 4 hours (lunch 11am–3pm or dinner 7pm–11pm), the stage, round tables and chairs, the buffet counters, a sound system with 2 wireless mics, built-in projectors and screens, ice and hot water, and parking coupons for up to 40% of your guests. Weddings also include one night in the Bridal Suite with halal breakfast for two, and set-up the day before, subject to the hotel's availability.
Yes. Every menu comes from our own halal-certified kitchen, and the Bridal Suite breakfast is halal too.
For most receptions, yes, and a tea ceremony and a lunch fit in one session. For vows, a first dance and a long dinner together, extra hours can be added at the hotel's rate — ask us and we put them in your written quote.
It is one nett price, with no service charge or GST added on top. It is built from the hotel's wedding rate for the ballroom, fixed for weddings held up to 31 December 2027, and our own menu, décor and planning prices. For 2028 dates and for events other than weddings, the hotel confirms the ballroom first. Your written quote confirms the total once the hotel confirms your date.
The buffets start at 30 guests, and the solemnisation light bites at 20. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.
Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
