Six hours: 9am to 3pm or 5pm to 11pm, with set-up from 2 hours before. A full day runs 9am to 11pm, so the tea ceremony, your vows and the reception can share one booking.
Yes. Add it to your booking: Tea Ceremony Essentials at $288 or the Styled Tea Ceremony at $588 a couple. Styled adds a cream tea table with dried flowers and pampas, 2 elder chairs, sweet dumpling soup for up to 30 and a helper for an hour. We set it up in the hall within your session, or deliver it to your home for a morning ceremony.
Yes. Say your vows on the stage, then high tea or a buffet in the same session. On a full-day booking, the vows can be in the morning and the reception at night. You book your own licensed solemniser; we plan the stage and the timing around the ceremony. For a small ROM the whole hall is more room than you need, so ask us about our smaller venues.
Yes. Every menu comes from our own halal-certified kitchen, and the hall allows outside caterers. Every tier has vegetarian dishes; tell us your guest mix and we build it into your quote.
No — the hall allows only its own sound, lighting and LED packages. We book the one you choose and add it to your written quote.
It is built from the hall's rates and our own menu, décor and planning prices. Your written quote confirms it once the hall confirms your date and session. Hall sound, lighting and LED packages, and the hall's refundable deposit, are added on top.
The buffets start at 30 guests, and the solemnisation light bites at 20. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.
Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
