4Buffet styling by our décor studio

Other caterers bring food. We also design the buffet and the room around it. Themed styling needs at least 60 days.

5Your event

Three suppliers, or one team

Most events need a caterer, a decorator and a lighting company. That means three quotes, three deposits and three teams on the day.

Booking them separately

  • Three quotes to compare, three deposits to pay
  • The buffet is foil trays on a table cloth
  • Décor and food do not match the theme
  • You chase three teams on the day

Alangkaar

  • One planner, one price, one bill
  • Copper and brass buffet display, included
  • Our décor studio styles the buffet and the room to your theme
  • One captain runs food, décor and service on the day
Better cuts, cut by hand

Lamb shoulder and leg, cut by hand and trimmed of fat in our kitchen. Boneless chicken thigh in every curry. Whole spices, ground for each event.

Cooked close to service

Curries finish in small batches. Breads, dosa and kebabs are cooked at live stations, so they reach the plate hot.

Service you notice

Pressed uniforms, a captain at every event and servers who keep the buffet full and the tables clear.

Questions

How do your prices compare?

Our food levels are the same as our full menu and are priced nett. What we add is the part others do not offer: buffet styling and themed rooms by our own décor studio, and one team that runs the whole event.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Buffet levels start at 80 guests and served levels at 50 to 60. For smaller events, see our full catering menu.

Why do themed set-ups need 60 days?

Our décor studio designs your theme, shows you a mock-up and builds or sources the pieces. Food-only events can be booked closer to the date.

Is the kitchen halal-certified?

Yes. We never cook beef, pork or lard, at any event.

Can we taste the menu first?

Yes. Tastings are paid and booked with your planner. The tasting fee is credited when you confirm your event.

What is included in the price a guest?

Food, the copper and brass buffet display, plates and cutlery, chefs, servers and a captain. Upgrades, live stations and themed styling are added as you choose them.

Your guests will remember the food. Let us make sure.
