Complete Decoration Services
The cost of Indian wedding decoration in Singapore depends on your venue type, guest count, decoration style, and whether you choose silk or fresh flowers. Here is a general guide to help you budget:
Simple draping and stage décor starts from $500, which includes a basic backdrop, red carpet aisle, and entrance styling. This is ideal for intimate temple ceremonies or home events where you want a clean, elegant look without a large setup.
Standard mandap packages range from $1,999 to $3,500, covering a traditional mandap structure, full hall draping, aisle decoration with floral arch, dining area covers and centrepieces, and basic lighting. This is our most popular range and suits most temple weddings at venues like PGP Hall, Holytree Temple, and Tank Road Temple.
Bespoke luxury designs start from $5,000 and include fully custom mandap builds, premium fresh florals, ceiling installations, LED walls, special effects like fog and sparklers, and a dedicated design consultant who works with you from concept to execution. This tier is popular for hotel ballroom receptions at venues like Holiday Inn, Sofitel Sentosa, and Gardens by the Bay.
A typical full Indian wedding in Singapore costs between $20,000 and $150,000 overall, with decoration typically representing 15–25% of the total budget. Our interactive package calculator lets you build and price your complete wedding package in real time.
Unlike many wedding decorators in Singapore who outsource to freelancers, every member of our 97-person team is a full-time Alangkaar employee. Our carpenters build the mandaps, our florists arrange the garlands, and our lighting technicians design the ambiance. This gives us complete quality control and the ability to make last-minute changes on the day itself.
We own thousands of unique props — from traditional temple mandap pillars and kolam boards to modern LED structures and floral arches. These are manufactured by our partner factories in India and China, and maintained in our Kerbau Road workshop. Our fresh flowers come from our own nursery in Hanoi, Vietnam, ensuring quality and freshness that imported flowers simply cannot match.
Alangkaar is the approved in-house decorator at 22 of Singapore's top Indian wedding venues. This means we know every venue's layout, power points, loading dock access, ceiling height, and restrictions. Our setup teams have worked at each venue hundreds of times, so there are no surprises on your wedding day. See our full venue partner list.
Alangkaar is a BizSafe certified company, recognised by the Singapore government for workplace safety and risk management. We have also been honoured with an accolade from the President of Singapore and featured by Business Insider, The Straits Times, Vasantham, and Sony Entertainment Television.
Looking for ideas for your Indian wedding decoration? Here are some of the most popular styles we create at Alangkaar:
Traditional South Indian weddings typically feature a wooden mandap with banana leaf columns, kolam (rangoli) floor art, nadaswaram stage setup, brass lamps, and fresh jasmine and rose garlands. Colours are usually white, gold, and red. We handle the complete setup including pooja items, fire pit, and priest seating.
North Indian celebrations are known for vibrant colours and elaborate styling. Think colourful fabric draping, floral mandaps with marigold and roses, LED backdrops for the sangeet night, jhoola (swing) for the mehendi ceremony, and dramatic entrance arches. We create everything from the baraat welcome setup to the grand reception stage.
For hotel receptions, we specialise in full venue transformations — ceiling draping, LED wall backdrops, luxury couple thrones, elevated floral centrepieces, walkway lighting, and fog machine entrances. Our team is experienced at all major Singapore hotel ballrooms including Holiday Inn Crystal Ballroom, Sofitel Sentosa Straits Ballroom, One Farrer Grand Ballroom, and Novotel Polaris Ballroom.
Not every celebration needs a grand venue. We offer home decoration packages from $699 that include puja room styling, entrance décor, and intimate ceremony setups for engagements, baby showers, and housewarming events.
