Can we have a tea ceremony at Sindhu House?
Yes. We set up a tea table in the Main Hall. Tea Ceremony Essentials is $288 a couple: a porcelain tea set, red date and longan tea for up to 30 family members, 2 kneeling cushions, and set-up and collection. The Styled Tea Ceremony is $588 and adds a cream and boho tea table, 2 chairs for your elders, sweet dumpling soup and a helper for an hour.
Can we have our ROM here?
Yes. A 3-hour booking suits most ROMs: say your vows with your licensed solemniser, then Vows High Tea or a buffet. The light-bites menus start at 20 guests.
Can you cater at Sindhu House?
Yes. Our own halal-certified kitchen caters your event at Sindhu House, with our own crew to serve and clear.
How many guests fit?
Up to 100 at tables in the Main Hall. For a bigger wedding, ask us about our other venues.
Is the price final?
It is one nett price, built from the association's published 2026 non-member rates and our own menu, décor and planning prices. Your written quote confirms the hall rate with the association before you pay anything.
Is the food halal?
Yes. Every menu is cooked in our halal-certified kitchen, so every guest can eat from the same buffet. Tell us about allergies and we mark them on the menu.
How many guests do we need?
The buffets start at 30 guests, and the solemnisation light bites at 20. Below that, talk to a planner and we will suggest a set-up that fits.
Is there GST or a service charge?
Not from us. Alangkaar is not GST-registered and adds no service charge, so our food, décor and planning are nett. Venue hire is at the venue's own rate, with no mark-up from us.
Who are The Ivory Co. × Alangkaar?
